Here we are already in September. Hasn’t the year flown by?
It is time to start getting ready for Christmas and rather than have to pay out a lot of money all at once, why not lay-by?
You will notice that all the stores are putting out bigger and glossier catalogues as we get closer to Christmas. The Toy Sales are happening so you don’t want to miss out. Let your kids look through the catalogues as they arrive. You will soon find out which toys are the in thing for your child this season.
By putting things on lay-by you will be able to work out a budget so that you can have them all paid off in time for Christmas and avoid that last minute panic and credit card debt. There is nothing worse than starting a new year while still paying off the debts from the last one.
By allocating a certain amount per pay to paying off the lay-by you will be able to better control your cash flow. That will leave you free to afford the little bargains that pop up, too.
Start planning for your Christmas shopping now. Save yourself a big headache and an empty pocket by using lay-by rather than credit.
